Ajaneesh Loknath ne film ke lie sangeet diya tha aur action sequences ko action director Vikram More ne choreographed kiya tha. production design ko debutant, Dharani Gange Putra ne handle kiya tha.
Kantara ko 30 September 2022 ko release kiya gaya tha. film ko critics se generally positive reviews milee, jinhonne cast performances, direction, action sequences and soundtrack ki taarif kee. ye ek huge commercial success thi aur usee saal K.G.F: Chapter 2 ke baad second highest-grossing Kannada film ke roop me ubharee. ye India me 2022 kee third highest-grossing film bhi thi.
