COVID-19 pandemic ke reason huyi delays ke beech, Principal photography December 2019 me Chandigarh me start huyi aur December 2020 me end huyi. Jersey ko originally 28 August 2020 ko ek cinema release ke liye scheduled kiya gaya tha, lekin COVID-19 pandemic ke reason ise kaee baar posepone kar diya gaya tha. film ko theatrically 22 April 2022 ko release kiya gaya tha. critics se positive reception aur Shahid Kapoor ke performance ki taarif ke baawajood, Jersey ne box office par poorly performance kiya.
